REGULATIONS
- For the protection and processing of data, Albanian Law No. 9887 of 10.03.2008 “On the Protection of Personal Data”, as amended, shall apply.
- Directives, ordinances, and other provisions issued by the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Protection of Personal Data also apply.
DATA CONTROLLER
The data controller is the association ASSECOMM, with registered office at Qendra ETC, Bulevardi Bajram Curri, 65 – 1020 – Tirana (Albania), represented by its President, Dr. Daniele Rutigliano.
PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Personal data are collected and processed to carry out the administrative activities of the association, for the purposes and objectives provided for by Albanian law and implementing decrees regulating data processing.
METHODS OF PROCESSING
Data will be processed according to the following criteria:
- if the individual has given consent;
- in compliance with legal provisions;
- in compliance with obligations arising from the membership application to the association;
- in the interest of the association “ASSECOMM”.
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER
In the case of international data transfers, the association “ASSECOMM” will comply with Articles 8 and 9 of the Law “On the Protection of Personal Data” and its implementing decrees.
DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
Every data subject has the right to:
- access their processed data through a written request;
- request the correction or deletion of their data;
- file a complaint;
- request compensation for damages.
