Our Albanian eCommerce association Assecomm is a community sponsor of the third edition of the Balkan Ecommerce Summit 2025, which will take place on April 29–30 at Arena Sofia in Bulgaria.

The event, created by Nikola Ilchev and organized by ecommerceAcademy, brings together the most important players in the online world across the Balkans, attracting visitors from 20 different countries, including Albania and Italy. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to network through the b2match app, which allows participants to schedule meetings over the two days of the event. Across the four stages of the Arena, more than 40 workshops will take place, all held in English.

In addition, in recent days, Nikola Ilchev, founder of the Balkan E-Commerce Summit, announced the launch of the Balkan Business Club, a support program for entrepreneurs. With an annual subscription of €199.00, members will receive:

  • access to a private internal networking platform;
  • 3 tickets per year to in-person networking events;
  • a monthly newsletter;
  • discounts on event participation;
  • discounts for becoming event sponsors.

The President of Assecomm will attend the two-day event in Sofia as the official Brand Ambassador for Albania, alongside 46 other experts.

“eCommerce in the Balkan countries is growing rapidly, and high-profile events like the Balkan Ecommerce Summit are a clear sign of this trend. There is a strong need for synergy, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. That’s why I accepted the invitation to promote the event within my network and support it through the association I represent and co-founded in 2021,” said Rutigliano.

“In Albania, there is still a lot of work to do to support entrepreneurs who want to transform their online activity into a solid and long-lasting business. At the same time, it is important to build trust and confidence among consumers in the use of electronic payments.”
